Puppet show educates children on social issues

Islamabad—Children from various educational institutions of twin cities were entertained here Monday in a puppet show by the performance of puppeteers on various social issues.

The puppeteers of National Puppet Theater enthralled the children with performance of various characters in form of stories to address different issues of society like environmental, health and education problems.

The show brought folk tales, skits, national songs and regional dances to provide informative entertainment to children who attended the event along with their parents.

The colorful puppet show is a regular feature of PNCA’s activities for promoting culture and traditions among the children who get entertained with movement of puppets in vibrant costumes and characters. Popular folk tales, skits and national songs were the major attraction for children capturing the expression of puppets in colorful apparels and traditional jewelry to introduce the children with rich cultural glimpses of Pakistan.
